"Forget all the reasons why it won't work and believe the one reason why it will."
Hi, I’m Roxy.
Several years ago, I had a realization.
I discovered that we are all responsible for our own successes. If we want to be healthier, fitter and more energized, we have to make the time.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day.
Many people carry around excuses. “I have a demanding job,” they say, or they complain that their children keep them too busy. Maybe they even tried exercising in the past and it didn’t work out.
These are all challenges, it’s true.
But it’s only when you accept where you are that you have the power to get where you want to be.
I’ve been on my own fitness and personal growth journey for 15 years. It’s taken me through many life changes: getting married, going through a divorce, moving to another state, changing career, getting married again, and starting a business to name a few. Like everyone else, I’ve faced many challenges.
I’ve come to understand that the path to a healthier lifestyle is about showing yourself some kindness. I quit abusing my body with negative self-talk, alcohol or excessive food. I realized that it’s not about the scale.
It’s about making changes that lead to a happier, healthier you.
The reality is that alongside exercising on a regular basis, you also need to make changes in the kitchen, cut down on stress and make sure you’re doing things that you truly enjoy.
I’ve been a personal trainer for five years now, and owned my own company for three. I’m also trained in my profession, with an associate’s degree in Occupational Studies for Personal Training.
There’s nothing better than helping someone on their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
Whether you’re looking to lose weight or just make some positive changes, I’ll be there for you when you’re in the trenches, putting in the work and feeling the burn.
I’ll be right there beside you, and I’ll believe in you even when you don’t believe in yourself.
